Also- the scratching post in the photo gives me ideas for my cat; it's better than the one I have. He looks just like your cat- I adopted him from my mother who is no longer able to care for him (I wonder if the cat is jealous of Amaya for attention?).

Amaya specializes in de-shelving. I guess she could help with weeding the collection.
The cat does like the scratching post -- it was given to us by a friend of mine. Amaya and the kitty have a love-hate relationship. Amaya loves the kitty and the kitty hates Amaya! Well, the cat is actually fairly tolerant of her, but Amaya tends to get very excited and start shrieking when she gets close to the cat, which doesn't help their friendship.
