NEdit

When I can find the time, I participate as a developer of NEdit, the best programmer's editor there is. I've worked on various bits of NEdit, but the features I'm most proud of are:

  • Calltips
  • Auto-scrolling
  • Mouse Pointer auto-hiding
  • The "Colors" dialog
  • Placing the Line and Column displays at the right of the status bar

I've also written some syntax highlighting patterns and auto-indent macros:

    Each file has installation instructions in comments at the top of the file.
