		<description>I hear you.  My wife's family lives in Buenos Aires and when we visited I remember thinking "I should've brought a few gadgets to sell -- I could've financed the whole trip!"

Have you tried checking with your local photography club?  I'm thinking that might be a way to get access to a calibrator without going ahead and buying one.</description>
